SO I went to Jo-ann’s today to pick up the minimum required things I need to finish my garter belt. Elastic, slider adjuster things, and clasps or clips. The only thing I could find were some Suspender/Mitten Clips. They’re metal, so they should work right? And instead of like, butterfly sliders or whatever you want to call them, I got some D-Rings, because, that was what my selection kind of was for the size of elastic I chose (1 inch)

I’ve been gushing about it on my personal blog, but I don’t think I’ve said much about it here: I’ve made some thigh high socks and they don’t completely suck! I don’t have much hopes of them staying up on their own, or wanting to deal with elastic in them that will still eventually fall down. So I’ve also started on making a garter. I need to go buy some more supplies before I can finish it though. 

But thigh high socks that go to mid thigh! So far I just made two black pairs. I’ve messed up a bit in copying the foot to the new ones, so they don’t fit as nicely as the first pair, but It’s okay. It’s all a learning experience and it’ll just get better as I figure out how to trace out the socks more and more. Hahaha.
