Struggling [to be] a[n] artist

Easy Pattern Drafting – Your Wardrobe Unlock’d

Since we are house hunting soon, having a dedicated sewing/craft/art room is pretty high on my list. Even if it’s just a shed out back or something, so this is going to be great for me to look at later.

Something I want to look into making when I get an actual sewing room and table to use.

DIY Professional Sewing Room Table

I don’t have interest in making a living off of my sewing. I will sew things for friends, if they ask (and I feel able to) but not really setting up a store.

That seems to be a pretty important thing to take note of. This blog posts talks about and makes me a bit relieved that it might not be as as difficult as I may be imagining it be.

I of course, have a lot of commercial patterns I want to make, and will need to learn to alter them to fit myself.

But this will be good when I find something that doesnt fit me and no way to get one that does, or just cant find a thing that suits what I’m looking for!
