There’s a short and sweet tutorial on the blog today 😀
It goes over how to enlarge or reduce patterns from a .pdf file – a question I get every so often. It’s really simple to do, but with this tutorial it takes out all the guesswork and experimenting so you can get it just how you like the first time ♥

Here’s a guide on how to use JoAnn Fabric’s coupons to their fullest extent!

As a Trained Couponer Specifically at Joanns (and a couple of my friends worked there for quite some time, so of course I asked them about the coupon policy):

-At least here in the parts of MN, three coupons is the limit. This is not only a trained limit, the computer system (which I wouldn’t imagine is different elsewhere) won’t allow more than three discount codes to be entered. I’ve watched a new cashier try and get beeped at. So please don’t get pissed off with the cashier if they tell you that there is a limit. It’s kind of hard-wired in, just like coupon purchase limits at grocery stores. And if you try to do a second transaction to use more coupons, at least get in line again.

-You can use competitor coupons! I know they take Michael’s coupons and used to take Hancock’s (RIP), and they also take them from a local one-location craft store up in my home town. So if you get the newspaper and it comes with coupons for multiple stores, hoard them all.

-Not necessarily coupon-related, but Joann has started to roll out their buy online/pick-up in store program! Maybe other places have had it a while, but for us here it’s new. I haven’t been able to use it since the closest participating store is 45 minutes away, but you can enter your coupons online as well. My anxiety has stopped me from making a necessary thread trip until the last second, and it would be great to just be able to make a quick trip instead of waiting in line behind 10-15 Loud people sometimes.

-I don’t think this thing mentioned the App, so I’m going to. It’s actually pretty good. The only thing I don’t like is that Joann couldn’t get their app to be able to select multiple coupons so you could easily scroll down a list of the codes (for an example of this feature check the Michael’s website). But like the OP said, screenshot everything! I figured that out last year, and every cashier I’ve gone to now says they’ll tell other people who struggle to pull up their coupons. I do this more for being courteous to the other customers than for my own impatience, but I am pretty impatient.

Thank you @notallbloodmages!!
